Kilim me is a project by Cris and Nacho, two decoration enthusiasts, who live and enjoy their jobs. They also have a beautiful dog named Gomez, but that's beside the point now.
Cris, developed her work for many years at Becara, and is now the director of Pantay Interiors, a spectacular store in Marbella. Cris loves fabrics, and it shows, she is great at choosing tones, textures and combinations. He doesn't need to sell you anything, just by listening to his reasoning and seeing his projects you are dazzled...and that happens with all the clients that pass through his hands. Decorate dream houses, dress up the best hotels and all clients end up being friends. Who gives more?
Nacho has been Purchasing Manager for companies such as Dusk, Linenbundle, Benetton Casa or Scalpers Home. His experience in decoration dates back to when he was a child and his parents imported furniture, objects and textiles from countries such as Indonesia, the Philippines, China and India. They, who had a lot of faith, took him as a child as a translator on their trips (sic)... and so he traveled around Asia for years visiting incredible countries, cities, sites and factories.
He spent 5 years wandering around India, although at first he was just going to see some carpets….
The experience of both creates an extraordinary combo that they could not pass up.
And from there this brand was born, Kilim Me, which aims to sell beautiful and wonderful rugs at great prices, with a close and personal service, avoiding the mass production of products and the coldness of impersonal sales.
And we like to go a little against the grain, that's why we work only with artisans, who are a very important part of this project, perhaps the main artists. The rest of us only provide the means to bring to your home those small works of art that we weave every day and that we undoubtedly love so that you can enjoy in your homes.
